About the Role

We provide the specialized human capital that allows companies to modernize their digital foundations. As a Talent Partner, you are the engine of our growth. You own the full cycle: from identifying new business opportunities to headhunting the specialized engineers who can execute them.

You will operate in a high-end niche, representing our core pillars of expertise: Cloud Engineering, DevOps & Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Architecture, Windows & Hybrid Computing, Network & Connectivity, IoT & Edge Systems and AI.

While we don’t expect you to build servers, you should be a professional sparring partner who can follow a technical roadmap and ask the right questions to get to the heart of a client’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and partner with mid-to-large enterprises. You sell TalentRoots’ ability to solve their staffing bottlenecks in complex tech environments.
  • Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition: Source, screen, and interview top-tier professionals within our scope. You own the candidate journey from the initial approach to the signed offer.
  • Strategic Account Management: Build long-term relationships and become a trusted advisor on market trends, salary benchmarking, and talent retention.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on the latest infrastructure shifts (e.g., Azure Arc, Edge computing, SASE) to identify where the demand for talent is heading next.
  • Process Excellence: Manage the entire funnel with precision. You ensure a high-quality experience for both the client and the candidate, maintaining professional standards at every touchpoint.

Your Profile

  • 3 to 5 years of experience with a proven track record in sales & recruitment, specifically within IT or Technical Infrastructure.
  • A Hunter Mentality: You have a proven track record of opening doors at new clients. You are persistent, persuasive, and results-driven.
  • Tech-Savvy: You aren’t afraid of terms like Kubernetes, SD-WAN, or Hyper-V. You have the intellectual curiosity to understand what our engineers actually do and what our clients need.
  • Networking: You are a natural communicator. You build rapport quickly and know how to maintain a high-quality pipeline of “passive” candidates.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: You thrive in an entrepreneurial setting. You don’t wait for instructions; you see an opportunity and you take ownership.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English. You can negotiate a contract in Dutch and pitch a candidate in English without breaking a sweat. French is a big plus.
