About the Role
Are you a strategic orchestrator who thrives at the intersection of complex infrastructure and large-scale organizational change? As a Technical Transition Coordinator at Talentroots, you are the conductor of a high-stakes migration. Our client is renewing its managed services contracts, covering cloud, network, and monitoring, and you are the key to making this transition seamless.
You aren’t just moving data; you are managing the delicate balance between internal technical teams and external partners. Your mission is to ensure continuity, controlled execution, and a flawless knowledge transfer. You are the bridge that ensures that as the technology shifts, the service remains rock-solid.
Key Responsibilities
- Transition Orchestration: Develop and maintain detailed transition plans and transformation checklists. You coordinate technical onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring every move aligns with project scope and SLAs.
- Stakeholder Synergy: Act as the central point of contact for all transition-related communication. You facilitate status meetings and validate transition readiness before any formal cutover.
- Knowledge Transfer: Coordinate and validate documentation handovers, system access transfers, and process walkthroughs. You ensure that critical technical knowledge is captured and shared effectively.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify transition risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies. You track, escalate, and resolve blockers that could impact service stability or timelines.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate asset inventories and verify that all operational documentation is complete and compliant with security and governance requirements.
- Service Continuity: Work closely with operations to prevent disruptions. You monitor early-life support after go-live and coordinate system validation post-transition.
Your Profile
- Seasoned Expert: At least 15 years of professional IT experience, with a deep understanding of infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud platforms).
- Transition Specialist: Proven track record (+5 years) in transitions between outsourcing partners and managing complex workstreams with structured tracking tools.
- Documentation Master: Extensive experience (+5 years) in coordinating technical documentation, Runbooks, SOPs, and asset/configuration records (CMDB).
- Analytical Leader: You maintain a helicopter view of complex environments while ensuring that contractual obligations and delivered documentation align perfectly.
- Communicative Connector: You bridge the gap between technical teams and vendors.
- You are fluent in Dutch or Frenchand have full professional proficiency in English (B2).
